Designed to shear (approximately 700 ft-lbs) at the receiver rather than causing extreme damage to the groomer if it is caught on an immovable object. Wire secures the pin from bouncing out when properly engaged. Pin meets SAE J429 specifications with a zinc plating to protect from rusting due to salt spray.
